We go to site
We observe current work, visible workmanship, materials, finishes and progress against the agreed plan.
Your villa means something to you. It deserves someone on the ground who cares. I bring hands-on building experience, regular site visits and honest updates to help you feel connected to your project, wherever you are.
You shouldn’t have to fly to Bali every week to understand your project. I take the time to understand what matters to you, check the details on site and follow up with your builder—so you feel heard and know what comes next.
We observe current work, visible workmanship, materials, finishes and progress against the agreed plan.
Receive concise photos, walkthrough video and a plain-English update showing progress and anything needing attention.
Questions and owner instructions are raised with the contractor, recorded and checked again on the next visit.

Regular visits create opportunities to raise questions while work is still accessible. I focus on what can be seen, compare it with the information you provide, and help you understand what needs a closer look.
Compare visible progress with your agreed drawings and schedule. Raise differences in layouts or measurements and flag decisions that could hold up the next stage.
Look at delivered materials, carpentry, tiles, paintwork, doors and windows against your selections. Record visible damage, uneven finishes or incomplete work.
Look for visible damp, water staining and pooling, and raise questions about wet-area work and drainage before finishes conceal the detail.
Keep your questions and requested changes in writing. Record the builder’s response so you know what has been discussed and what still needs your decision.
Document concerns with photos and revisit them as work progresses. With Premium issue tracking, keep an ongoing list of open items and reported fixes.
A separately quoted walkthrough can help list unfinished details and visible defects for discussion with your builder before you accept the handover.

Checks cover visible, safely accessible work within the agreed scope. Specialist testing, concealed defects, structural assessment and electrical or plumbing certification require the relevant qualified professional.
You should finish reading an update knowing what has moved forward, what needs attention and what happens next. Clear photos, context and follow-up help you stay involved from overseas.

Every renovation starts with imagining what a place could become. These villa plans show the journey from the original layout to a proposed new direction. On site, my role is to help you stay connected as those details take shape.

These films follow a Bali villa renovation project we worked on, recorded from 1 September to 27 October 2026. See the work move through successive stages, then revisit the same spaces to understand what has changed.
Follow the original rooms and courtyard through demolition, new openings, groundwork and concrete construction. Dated clips show how the site changes across successive visits.

“I love seeing a place come to life. And I care just as much about the person trusting us to help get it there.”Connor · Founder, Onsite Bali
I’m Connor, the person behind Onsite Bali. I have a real love for building and renovation: seeing the potential in a space, working through the details and watching it take shape. My hands-on Australian carpentry and building experience helps me know what to look for and which questions to ask.
I understand how much trust it takes to build from overseas. This is your money, your vision and a place you’ve put your heart into. I take that seriously. I’ll listen to your concerns, keep you involved and raise the awkward questions when something needs attention.
For me, care means showing up: being there for key deliveries, checking measurements, talking with the trades and following up on the details you’re worried about. You deserve honest answers and someone who cares how it turns out.
We do not replace your builder, architect, engineer or certifier. We independently observe, document and communicate on your behalf.
The service is deliberately straightforward. Here are the details owners usually want to know first.
No. Onsite Bali provides independent progress monitoring, visual observations and communication for the owner. We do not perform engineering, certification or replace licensed professionals responsible for the work.
A concise update with relevant photos or video, current progress, visible concerns raised, contractor responses where available, and what is expected to happen next.
Yes. The service suits both new villa construction and substantial renovations, with the visit schedule adapted to the project's stage and pace.
Yes—that is the purpose of Onsite Bali. Share your plans, selections and priorities, and arrange access with your builder. I visit in person and send updates so you can ask questions and make decisions remotely.
Before work starts is useful, but you can also get in touch during construction or renovation. Send your current schedule so we can plan visits around important deliveries, work stages and upcoming decisions.
I document the visible concern, raise it with you and your contractor, and record any response. Follow-up visits can check whether the visible work has changed. Where specialist advice is needed, I flag that so you can involve the appropriate professional.
One-off progress checks, pre-handover walkthroughs and defect follow-up can be quoted separately based on location and scope.
Tell me what you’re creating, what excites you and what’s worrying you. I’ll take the time to understand your project and where I can help.
